As a technology writer, you will use the Internet to explore the topic of teen hacking and why it is wrong. You will gather research on the Internet about the subject and then write a newspaper opinion column describing why hacking is unethical and illegal. Doing this will give you an understanding of why computer files should be treated the same as other forms of property.

You will use different Internet search techniques to find information about teen hacking. Your goal is to find two Web sites that describe why it is wrong to enter a computer without permission.

Search for appropriate Web sites using key words or terms. Also search by using Boolean operators, which include the words AND, NOT, and OR. A Boolean search allows you to include or exclude documents containing certain words. To learn more about Boolean searches, click the button at right.
